Founded by the Major Dev Saigal family in 1976 (whose origins in shipping go back to the mid 1960’s) after he left the Indian Military. Headquartered in Mumbai, Ardee Saigal Group or ASG is the pioneer consulting and shipbroking firm with a successful track record in the shipping, offshore oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, fertiliser and renewables businesses. forging partnerships with India. Amongst its many achievements ASG has been the pioneer in assisting the Oil and Natural Gas Commission (ONGC), India in implementing their offshore objectives of achieving greater self-sufficiency in hydrocarbons right from the first discovery of the Bombay High filed in the 1970’s through the supply and charter of offshore drilling rigs, boats and construction vessels.
ASG has also been in the forefront of projects involving the sale of oil and gas technologies to refineries, petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, building of refinery marine terminals by major engineering procurement and consultancy contractors (EPC) and now in the export drive by India assisting Indian shipyards to expand. ASG works with banks, financial institutions, lawyers and accountants and law firm in mergers and acquisitions of oil and industrial assets because of our deep understanding of this complex industry.
